The Hotpoint® RAK148H2 Wall Thermostat is a non-programmable digital wall thermostat designed specifically for use with Hotpoint and compatible PTAC (Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner) systems. Engineered for commercial and hospitality environments, this thermostat provides reliable temperature management with support for single-stage cooling and up to 2-stage heating, including heat pump systems with electric resistance backup heat.
Operating on 24V AC low-voltage control, the RAK148H2 offers a simple, user-friendly interface with an easy-to-read display and dedicated slide switches for mode selection, fan operation, and fan speed control. Its high/low fan speed functionality gives occupants additional comfort customization while maintaining straightforward operation.
Designed for durability and ease of installation, the thermostat supports 7-wire hook-up configurations commonly required for PTAC heat pump applications. It is compatible with a variety of commercial PTAC installations and is particularly well-suited for hotels, apartments, dormitories, assisted living facilities, and office spaces where simple, dependable climate control is preferred.
